  Shakshuka , a delicious North African and Middle Eastern dish made of eggs poached in a spiced tomato sauce. Here's how you can make it: Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon ground chili powder (optional) 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes or fresh tomatoes Salt and pepper to taste 4 eggs Feta cheese (optional) Fresh basil or parsley for garnish Instructions: Sauté the Vegetables : Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. HOW TO MAKE BAKED BEANS Making these baked beans is a cinch… in about 10 minutes they’re ready to pop in the oven and then you don’t have to mess with them for at least 2 hours. Cook bacon halfway through in whichever method you prefer.    See my method for baking bacon below in the additional cooking tips section.  Once bacon has cooled enough to handle, roughly chop into bite-sized pieces. Preheat oven to 325°F and set oven rack to lower-middle position. Cook onion and pepper.    I like to use bacon grease to saute these in if I have it, but butter will work just as well.  Just saute until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
