3 Tasty Summer Drinks
Summer drinks that are tasty and healthy; who could ask for
anything more on a hot summer day. Stop the soda pop habit. Soda is full
of sugar and high in calories and really doesn't quench your thirst.

Strawberry Fresh
This is a great low in calories recipe for summer time or anytime. This strawberry blend will refresh you without adding on the pounds!
Ingredients:
2 c. strawberry frozen yogurt (low-fat)
1 c. fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
2/3 c. skim milk (chilled)
1/4 c. orange juice (chilled)
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions:
Blend frozen yogurt, strawberries, milk, orange juice and the cinnamon in a blender or a food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and you are done! Yum! Makes 2 - 4 glasses depending on how large a glass you use.
Citrus Fizz
This drink will quench your thirst and is equal to a serving of fruit! You get your nutrition plus it's low in calories too. Bonus!
Ingredients:
2 c.pineapple juice (unsweetened)
2 c. orange juice
1 tsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp coconut extract
3/4 tsp vanilla
2 c sparkling water (chilled)
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients, with the exception of the sparking water, into a large pitcher and refrigerate until will chilled. When you are ready to serve it add the 2 cups of sparkling water. This will preserve the fizz for when you can enjoy it!

Iced Creamy Coffee
2 tsp Instant coffee (you can also use decaf)
1 c. skim milk
Sweetener (Splenda)
1/4 c. vanilla yogurt (fat-free)
4 ice-cubes
Crush the ice cubes in the blender. (If your blender will not crush ice just put the cubes into the coffee after blending to chill it) Now add the coffee, milk, sweetener (to taste) and yogurt. Blend until smooth. This will produce a nice creamy smoothie type drink. Delicious!
